Roboquest VR, the highly anticipated roguelite action shooter, is set to release on Steam and PlayStation VR2 later this month, with the Quest version following in early 2026. Developed by RyseUp Studios, Roboquest VR was originally launched as a flatscreen PC game two years ago, and fans have been eagerly awaiting its VR adaptation. Playing as a Guardian, this FPS roguelite with a comic book-inspired art style offers an immersive experience, challenging players to take down mechanical foes across randomly generated environments while navigating intense bullet hell battles. The upcoming VR release promises a fully rebuilt experience with new features, including manual reloading and interactive weapon handling, enhancing the gameplay and providing a more engaging experience. Flat2VR Studios, the developer, has also confirmed co-op support for early 2026 and additional PS VR2-specific features such as adaptive trigger support, controller haptics, headset rumble, and eye-tracked foveated rendering. This VR adaptation is one of five major announcements from Flat2VR Studios, which has been hosting a PlayStation VR2-focused livestream. Other notable releases include VRacer Hoverbike, Audio Trip, Shadowgate VR, Out of Sight VR, and RAGER. Roboquest VR is set to release on November 20 for Steam and PlayStation VR2, with the Quest version arriving in early 2026. The game's compelling FPS roguelike mechanics and immersive VR experience have generated significant anticipation, and UploadVR's Henry Stockdale has praised its potential as one of the most anticipated Flat2VR Studios games.
